She’s a Maniac, Maniac…
Well, she’s done it. A week before her 6-month birthday, Little Button has finally completed the transition into rollover ability. She can now go from tummy to back, AND from back to tummy.
(Insert collective “oooooooh” here)
She still wakes up between 3 & 4 am for a bottle every morning and when I go in to pick her up, I’m never quite sure what I’m going to find. Half the time I pick her up in the dark only to realize I’m holding her upside down and leaning in to kiss a pair of flailing feet.
She seems to be a bit performance shy, though, because she never does these little tricks while we’re watching. So we don’t know that she can do this stuff until she’s already done it. Which makes me wonder what ELSE she can do that we won’t know about for a while, and what we should already be assuming she can do. Perhaps it will be time soon to lower the crib mattress as a step of precaution.
One day I’ll put her down and look over to see her walking into another room. And it will really freak me out.
