One day you will be an adult with a child of your own. And one day your child will begin to teeth and you will be forced to come up with ways to remedy the annoyance and pain they are going through during this time of transition. And on that day, on THAT day you will understand the emotional predicament we currently find ourselves in.
On that day you will truly comprehend how FREAKING FUNNY it is to watch a baby who cannot feel her tongue.
And on that day, hopefully you will find it in your heart to forgive your parents, who cannot help but laugh repeatedly at your expense as your face takes on a whole new expression moments after we have applied the numbing gel.
But if not, we would like to remind you that the numbing gel is for your own comfort, which is our first priority. The after-effects are just a bonus and we would never ever numb your mouth simply for our own entertainment. Most of the time.
