Bugger

One would think that if you spent $80 on a software program - a software program that is specifically designed to create slideshows and then burn them to DVD - that you would have the ability to burn said slideshow to a DVD.

One would THINK that pressing the “Burn to DVD” button would result in something OTHER than the complete meltdown and freezing of your DVD burner.

One would be wrong.

Wow…I had no idea how picky you really are. You mean, you bought something AND you want it to work??? Jeepers.

Maybe you’re expectations are just too high. I mean, really, when money is exchanged do we really have any right to expect to receive something in return?

Seriously though, have you checked if there are any updates to the software or drivers? Or even searching the problem in Google? If it is a known problem then there is a probably a fix out there somewhere. I hope it works for you. (P.S. Have you tried Google’s Picasa? I know it can burn Slideshows on CDs and probably can on DVDs as well). (P.P.S. And no, I don’t work for Google ;-) )

I’ve checked updates, searched for the problem in Google, uninstalled and reinstalled the software and emailed technical support. I even called Dell to make sure it wasn’t a problem with my DVD-RW drive.
My last resort is banging my head on the computer screen hoping to knock some sense into the machine. I’m off to try that now. Sigh.
