I've had to have several moles removed and it's no fun.

I'm glad that you are closer to getting things resovled in the big mess.

Thanks so much for renting to me this week!

Moles are tricky little buggers. They do grow and you get new ones as you age (At least I do), but they shouldn't be such a strange shape or color that you really take notice. I have gotten probably about 20 new ones since I turned 30 and my doctor has found nothing wrong with them. One is very large and VERY strangely shaped, and damnit, its getting bigger, but we had it looked at and nope... not a problem. So, it really just depends on your body. So, be cautious but don't worry too much!

Hope it doesn't cost too much! And a big shame on that guy for saying that to you... what a jerk!

Definitely have it checked. Any mole that changes shape, size or color needs to be evaluated. I've had several removed and it costs me a $20 co-pay plus $80 for pathology on each mole. See a doctor first, explain you don't have insurance so you need an estimate before any procedure. Most likely it will be cheaper than insurance. If it's melanoma that's another story but we won't go there. They're probably fine but still get them removed. My mom has skin cancer so I went ahead and had all mine removed.
