Tradeoffs
Having my mom ready and willing to care for Button on the 2 days every week that I work is great.
Unfortunately, it also comes with some downsides … such as when I have to remind her which of us is the parent.

Jane sent me your way, she thought we might hit it off and I can’t believe that I’ve not run into you before. You kind of remind me of myself, and I really love your writing style. I’ll be back for sure!
BTW - I know what you mean, my mom tried to tell me last night what my daughter could and couldn’t have. I was like, “excuse me, I’m the one that pushed her out!” kthx.

It was that kind of situation that finally allowed me to break free from the power my Mom had over me. I am a much better woman (and mom) now.
