Wow. What a whirlwind of a trip! A wonderful, fascinating, incredible whirlwind of a trip!

I’m back and am doing my best to catch up a bit. So far, I’ve personalized and deployed the premade Wordpress themes that sold while I was away, so that’s a little less on my plate. Still have a lot of work to do on other projects, including this site - It’s time to say goodbye to the Christmas Theme, but as of yet I have nothing to replace it with. Guess I should get on the ball with that, but not right now.

Our house is a disaster from 2 weeks of having company and being unable to clean in the middle because a) I have to kick my MIL out of the house to clean while she’s here because she’s allergic to everything, and b) y’know, ROME.

And the cleaning crew is here tomorrow which means we have to straighten things up enough so they can get to the places they need to clean, so I really need to get hopping with that and find something to do with the piles of laundry (both dirty and clean) that abound. Where does it all come from???

Anyway, lots to show and tell - I took upwards of 500 pictures with my new! camera! (don’t worry, I won’t be uploading them all here) and saw so many fascinating things. It was truly the trip of a lifetime.

In the end, we were ready to get back to our Little Button but I can definitely say it was the best trip I have ever taken.

Jet lag sucks.  But my husband totally rocks.
