Blahh! I left a long comment this morning. Do you need to approve it? Is it in limbo?

Do I need to retype it?

I remember 27. Seems so long ago now. I didn't feel grown up until 30 and sometimes, I still don't.

I have always wanted to buy the expensive makeup but am afraid that will buy it and then hate it.

Good for you!

Just a note about MAC. I used their makeup for quite some time, and was finally pleased to find something that would blend, and nearly perfectly matched my skin tone.

But, one of my closest friends (who had also been a MAC consumer), became a consultant for Mary Kay, and provided me samples. She told me that her experience was that Mary Kay worked just as well, some products better, and obviously all were less expensive.

So, I ordered some to give it a try, and haven't used any other makeup since. It's been seven years or so. Like you, I am in my twenties, so my skin has had some subtle changes from 18 to 25. But, I have not been disappointed in the consistent quality and match(es) for my skin tone. And, I trust my friend, so it was a much easier decision than it could have been.

So, if you haven't tried Mary Kay, you may want to find a consultant in your area and set up an appointment for a makeover (you know - in your *spare* time). It's especially good if you can find someone you know, who won't be extremely....pushy.

That's just my experience, but it's been good for me.

I really, honestly can't believe that I just wrote that extremely long post about makeup.

Well, that's all.

I'm glad your mood has lifted. Keep taking care of your well-being.
